    ABOUT AMELIA TAKACS

    Amelia is a property lawyer with a structured, thoughtful and commercially aware approach to client work. She focuses on complex property transactions, including commercial acquisitions, related party transfers, subdivisions, leasing and other related matters.

    Amelia assists clients with end-to-end property transactions, contract drafting and advisory work. She enjoys being involved in matters from early negotiations through to settlement, and focuses on understanding the “why” behind each transaction — not just the task in front of her.

    This helps her provide advice that is practical, well considered and aligned with her clients’ broader commercial goals.

    Liesel Sparrius

    About Liesel Sparrius

    Liesel is a Senior Conveyancer in the Property team at KPA Lawyers, bringing over three decades of experience in conveyancing and a deep understanding of every stage of a property transaction. She joined the firm through KPA Lawyers’ acquisition of Land Transfer Services, where she had been a key member of the team for more than 20 years.
     
    Liesel manages conveyancing files from start to finish, including the preparation of contracts and Vendor’s Section 32 Statements, meeting with clients to take instructions, completing and signing the documentation required for the conveyance, and progressing matters through to settlement on the PEXA platform. She is also a mentor and teacher to the junior lawyers and support staff at KPA, sharing the practical knowledge and expertise built over her career.

    Carolyn Taylor

    About Carolyn Taylor

    Carolyn is a key member of the Property team at KPA Lawyers, bringing a wealth of experience in property transactions and conveyancing. She works closely with clients across sales, purchases and transfers, taking a hands-on role in every stage of a transaction.

    Her work spans the preparation and review of contracts, the preparation of all documents required for a conveyancing transaction (including duties forms and PEXA lodgements), transmission and survivorship applications, settlement calculations and the completion of settlements in PEXA. Carolyn works closely with banks and brokers to meet special conditions and settlement deadlines, and meets regularly with clients to discuss their needs and talk them through the process.

    Clients and colleagues value Carolyn’s warmth, dedication and deep understanding of conveyancing. She is focused on making what can be a stressful process less stressful, building trust with each client and protecting their interests to ensure the best possible outcome.

    ABOUT THOMAS STAMP

    Thomas supports the Property team with a reliable and considered approach to his work, helping ensure matters progress smoothly and on schedule. He assists with file management, preparing contracts, agreements, deeds and leases and supporting complex applications to the State Revenue Office.
