About Pelagie
Pelagie has broad experience in litigation and leads the firm’s building and construction team. She has developed strong experience in building and construction litigation including managing matters through to mediation and trial and also acts across general and complex commercial litigation in a broad range of disputes. Additionally, she has experience in advising in domestic, commercial and civil construction projects.
Pelagie regularly instructs in and appears in multiple jurisdictions, including VCAT and the higher courts. She is recognised for her practical, solutions-focused approach and her ability to confidently manage technically complex matters.
Pelagie places a strong emphasis on building and maintaining trusted client relationships, providing clear, commercially focused advice and responsive service.
Pelagie joined KPA Lawyers in 2024 and is fluent in French and is able to assist French-speaking clients.

Successfully defeating the Defendants’ stay application the Owners Corporation was granted leave to bring the proceeding under section 57A of the DBC Act
Representing the first precedent under that section providing guidance as to how the Court will exercise its powers under section 57A of the DBC Act.
R v LH Holding Management Pty Ltd & Hanna [2024] VSC 90
Acted for the Defendants in the first criminal prosecution under the new provisions of the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004 (Vic) for industrial manslaughter.
