About Aly Deane
Aly brings a strong work ethic, attention to detail and a genuine commitment to client outcomes to the Litigation team. She is currently assisting on a range of matters including owners corporation disputes, commercial lease disputes, franchise agreement disputes and litigious contract disputes.
Clients can expect a reliable and focused contributor who works diligently and communicates clearly. Aly supports the senior lawyers in the team across all stages of a matter, including legal research, document drafting, preparing court documents and briefs to counsel, and assisting with the day-to-day management of files. Her experience working at Gadens Lawyers in property and at Minter Ellison in employment law has given her exposure to a broad range of legal work and a strong grounding in the standards of professional practice.
Aly was admitted as a lawyer in December 2025. She holds a Bachelor of Laws from Deakin University and completed her Practical Legal Training at the College of Law.

Assists in acting for landlords and tenants in commercial leasing disputes, including disagreements over rent, outgoings, repairs, breach and termination.
- Residential Leasing Disputes
Assists in residential tenancy disputes over matters such as rent, bond, property condition and termination of the tenancy.
- Owners Corporation – Levy & Fee Recovery
Assists in recovering unpaid levies, fees and related charges owed to owners corporations by lot owners.
- Owners Corporation – Common Property & By-Law Disputes
Assists in disputes over common property, repairs and maintenance, and the interpretation and enforcement of owners corporation rules and by-laws.
- Commercial Contract Disputes
Assists in litigious commercial contract disputes, including claims for breach and recovery of losses arising under the contract.
- Debt Recovery
Assists in recovering debts owed under commercial contracts and leases, from letters of demand through to court proceedings and enforcement.
