About Jacob
Jacob is a valued member of the Litigation team at KPA Lawyers, with a particular focus on owners corporation disputes, insolvency, contract and lease disputes, residential tenancies disputes, and commercial and general litigation. He also manages the firm’s debt recovery department, overseeing matters from initial instructions through to enforcement.
Clients can expect a focused and reliable lawyer who works efficiently and communicates clearly. Jacob’s work includes drafting pleadings, settlement offers and Terms of Settlement, letters of demand and instalment agreements, as well as appearing in VCAT and the Magistrates’, County and Supreme courts of Victoria. He is known for his promptness, attention to detail and his ability to guide clients through the practical realities of dispute resolution.
Outside the firm, Jacob is a committee member of Haileybury Football Club, where he assists with legal and governance matters. Many of KPA’s clients are already familiar with Jacob through his involvement in the local community, and consistently appreciate the reliability and care he brings to their matters.
Jacob joined KPA Lawyers in 2021 as a paralegal while completing his legal studies, and was admitted to practice in March 2024 after completing his professional traineeship at the firm. He holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Media and Communications from Swinburne University of Technology.

Acts for landlords and tenants in disputes over rent, bond, repairs, breach of lease and termination across both residential and commercial tenancies.

Advises franchisors and franchisees on disputes arising under franchise agreements and the Franchising Code of Conduct, including breach, termination and non-renewal issues.
- Contract and Lease Disputes
Acts in disputes over the interpretation, performance and enforcement of commercial contracts and leases, including breach, misrepresentation and recovery of losses.
- Debt Recovery
Pursues and defends the recovery of outstanding debts, from letters of demand through to court proceedings and enforcement of judgments.
