About Justin
Justin is a paralegal in KPA Lawyers’ Commercial team, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions and corporate advisory.
Justin works closely with senior lawyers on the acquisition and sale of businesses, including drafting and reviewing transaction documents and conducting vendor and purchaser due diligence. He also prepares advices across a range of corporate and commercial matters including private capital raising, intellectual property, competition and consumer law, retail leasing, and franchising. He brings a diligent, analytical and commercially driven approach to each matter, focused on delivering outcomes that are practical and aligned with our clients’ business objectives.
His transaction experience is headlined by roles on Gray Nicolls’ acquisition of Russell Corp Australia (Sherrin and Spalding) from Fruit of the Loom, and CARe’s acquisition of MotorOne Autobody from Quadrant Private Equity.
Justin enjoys collaborating with and building relationships across a broad network of external advisers, including accountants, corporate advisers and other professionals.
Justin is completing a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) at Monash University and is on track to be admitted as a lawyer of the Supreme Court of Victoria at the end of 2026.

Assists on M&A transactions, including drafting and negotiating share sale and asset sale agreements and related transaction documents, and helping prepare completion items.

Assists with legal due diligence on corporate transactions, reviewing company records and documents and helping identify and report on key risks and issues.
- Intellectual Property
Assists with trade mark applications and opposition matters, and with advisory work on protecting, managing and commercialising intellectual property rights.
- Corporate Governance
Assists with shareholder arrangements and governance documents, including shareholder agreements dealing with control, decision-making, exits and shareholder protections.
- Commercial Contracts
Assists in drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements that support businesses, including services, supply, licensing and confidentiality arrangements.
- Employment & Workplace Contracts
Assists with drafting and reviewing employment agreements, employee share schemes, bonus and incentive arrangements, and other workplace documents that support growing businesses.
