Les Schwarz

Les Schwarz has been a prominent construction and Owners Corporation lawyer for nearly 40 years. He has given presentations and written papers in these practice areas. Les has worked as a partner of a large city law practice, independently as a Barrister for 12 years and was the sole Director of LMS Lawyers from 2004 to 2023.
Les acts for owners, builders and all types of building professionals in all jurisdictions. He has represented the Victorian Managed Insurance Authority in a number of important cases in the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal and in Supreme Court Appeals, which have established important legal precedents.
Les is also a member of the Building Appeals Board, which hears a wide variety of disputes, appeals and complaints in respect of all types of building matters. He is also a member of the Architects Tribunal.
